$2Mn debt capital raise for Kerala based MSME lender in June 2020 from SIDBI
$3Mn debt raise for a private equity portfolio consumer brand based in South India from a mid sized private scheduled commercial bank in June 2020
Cross Border Investment
$3Mn acquisition for US based payday loans and P2P player. Scouted for right Indian asset for acquisition and Target was Karnataka based non-banking financial services company. We turned around entire takeover within 180 days. We work with them for their debt raise from institutional lenders
Structured Lending Partnerships
When direct lending tap closed, we came up with interesting lending products by partnering with India based P2P player
Not just plain vanilla lending, we facilitated P2P lending models for a payday loan lender with a difficult to understand open-ended product. Presently, this lender does about $2.5Mn disbursement during April - Sept'20
Facilitated one of the largest NBFC lending partnership for a private equity invested fintech under co-lending model. Interesting piece here is this wasn't a priority sector lending.
Alliance and BC Engagements
$32Mn worth of disbursement relationship facilitated since Covid-19 through risk sharing or FLDG backed models from institutional lenders (AA to AAA Rated). Our clients were smaller but promising players in retail lending segments like edu finance and gold finance. Turned around engagements within 90 days
